It is indeed an honour and privilege for me to have been elected as the Head
Girl for the year 2023-2024. It is rightly said that St. Mary’s Academy is not just
a school – it is a legacy and I am a living testament of this great legacy. I too
have had the provd privilege of having this school transform me from a shy
timid and awkard girl to one who has poise, confidence and positive
personality. Never had I ever imagined when I first walked up the slope to this
“ CITADEL ” of knowledge, that I would one day hold the position of Head Girl –
the most revered and respected position of all, But here I am today penning
down these words as the new Head Girl. I hope that, I will be able to live up to
the honour of my position and uphold the ideals od this school at all costs.
St. Mary’s Academy is a school that opens my eyes to dreams and gives the
wings to reach the pinnacles of success. Coming to this school has been the
best decision that my parents made for me and I will be forever grateful to
them for this. This school not only believes in academic excellence but also
instilling moral values into its students, to create global citizens who are true to
their roots and their culture. It is an institution that recognizes every child as a
unique diamond that must be polished to sparkle with brilliance. I am proud to
be a part of this esteemed institution and I hope and pray every student
passing through his/her portals understands the value of the education and
life skills.
May St. Mary’s Academy, Sarsawa grow from strength to strength.
